Everything to know before your first shower with Uncle.
01The product
How do I use Uncle?
Pop a soap bar into the head, wet it and scrub. The silicone bristles build the lather. Rinse it and hang it on the wall mount after your shower.
Can I use it on my face and hair?
Yes. The bar is gentle enough for body, face and hair, and the bristles are soft medical-grade silicone.
How long does a bar last?
About 20 showers per bar, depending on how long you shower.
How do I keep it clean?
Rinse it after each shower and hang it on the wall mount. Silicone doesn't soak up water, so it dries before your next shower.
Is it more hygienic than a loofah?
Yes. Silicone doesn't soak up water like a loofah. Rinse it, hang it on the mount, and it dries before your next shower.
02Scents & soap
Which scents can I pick?
Four scents: Ice Mint, Cedar & Sandalwood, Coconut & Lime and Bourbon Vanilla. Mix them any way you like when you build your kit.
Is it OK for sensitive skin?
Results vary by skin type. If your skin is sensitive, try a new scent on a small area first.
Can I change scents later?
Yes. Change your scents in one click from your account before your next refill ships.
03Wall mount
Will it damage my tiles?
No drilling. It sticks to smooth tile, glass or acrylic and peels off cleanly when you move.
What surfaces does it stick to?
Smooth tile, glass or acrylic.
Can I move it?
Yes. It peels off cleanly, so you can take it with you when you move.
